City Council Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of every month at City Hall at 7:30 PM. On occasion as deemed necessary Council Workshops or Special Meetings may be held. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend all the Meetings and Workshops. The Council Agendas are posted at the Post Office & at City Hall at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
There shall be required from every customer who is the owner of the premises a $25.00 deposit and from every customer who is not the owner of the premises a $50.00 deposit intended to guarantee the payment of bills for service. Per City Code 92.09.
If you have a cat or dog, they are required to be licensed with City Hall yearly. Proof of rabies must be shown before a license can be issued. Contact City Hall to receive a pet license application. Per City Code Chapter 56. Please remember that It is unlawful to allow animals run at large, please keep your pets confined on your own property. Please see City Hall for more information regarding Animal Protection and Control City Code Chapter 55.
The first Monday of every month is yard waste pick-up. IT IS MANDATORY THAT YOU CALL AHEAD TO CITY HALL (484-3636) THE WEEK BEFORE THE SCHEDULED PICK-UP DAY. If you would like to dispose of yard waste yourself you can check out a key at City Hall for the tree dump during regular office hours.
Garbage is picked up on Thursdays. Cannot accept tires, batteries, paint, and hazardous materials. Garbage must be set out at the curb by 7:00 a.m.
